No Man’s Sky: Das „Atlas Rises“-Update bringt neue Kampagne, Missionen und Multiplayer - Changelog

Mit dem neuen "Atlas Rises"-Update für das Weltraumerkundungsspiel "No Man"s Sky" wurden umfassende neue Features und Ergänzungen für das Spiel integriert. Welche Neuerungen zu erwarten sind, verraten die Patchnotes.

Die Entwickler von Hello Games haben die kompletten Patchnotes für das neue „Atlas Rises“-Update für ihr Weltraumerkundungsspiel „No Man“s Sky“ veröffentlicht. Unter anderem wird damit bekannt gegeben, dass sich die Spieler auf eine   umfangreiche Story-Kampagne mit rund 30 Stunden Spielzeit, prozedural generierte Missionen und einen eingeschränkten Multiplayer gefasst machen können.

Zum Multiplayer wurde erklärt: „Es sind Glitches in der Simulation aufgetaucht.“ Diese Glitches geben insgesamt 16 Spielern die Möglichkeit, gemeinsam zu spielen. Die Spieler werden jedoch nur als ein schwebender Orb bei den anderen Spielern dargestellt. Mittels Voice-Over-IP können die Spieler miteinander kommunizieren, wenn sich in der näheren Umgebung befinden. Eine Schnellreise zu verschiedenen Planeten wird über neue Portale ermöglicht, was das Treffen mit anderen Spielern erleichtern soll.

Es handelt sich dabei übrigens nur um den ersten Schritt zu einem synchronen Multiplayer in „No Man’s Sky“, wie die Entwickler anmerken. Im Rahmen der neuen Story-Kampagne wird hingegen eine neue interdimensionale Rasse im Fokus stehen.

„Unsere Geschichte bringt einen neuen Kontext, ein Quest-System und verzweigte Erzählungen zu No Man’s Sky“, erklären die Macher. Die Geschichte soll rund 30 Stunden Spielzeit zu bieten haben. „Entdeckt die Wahrheit hinter den Logs der Verlassenen Gebäude, der Welt aus Glas, den Sentinels, der Erlösung der Gek und der Bedeutung von Sechszehn…“

Weitere neue Features sind Spieler-Gilden, gigantische, abgestürzte Frachter zum Plündern, Terrain-Anpassungsmöglichkeiten und das Beschwören des Schiffs. Die englischsprachigen Patchnotes haben wir weiter unten im Artikel eingebunden.

  • Increased contrast between picked and unpicked resource plants to more easily tell them apart

  • Added scan markers on more smaller plutonium crystals to aid resource gathering

  • Added requirement to scan planets in order to reveal their names
