In gut zwei Wochen werden die diesjährigen Game Awards stattfinden. Neben einer Vielzahl an Enthüllungen und Weltpremieren kann man selbstverständlich auch einmal mehr mit einer packenden Preisverleihung rechnen, in deren Rahmen sowohl Preise von der Jury als auch den Fans vergeben werden. Inzwischen haben die Veranstalter die Liste der Kategorien und Nominierten enthüllt.

Demnach sind vor allem „Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End“, „Inside“ sowie „Overwatch“ die Favoriten auf mehrere Preise. Alle drei Titel sind auch für das beste Spiel des Jahres nominiert. Die Game Awards 2016 werden in der Nacht vom 1. auf den 2. Dezember 2016 um 3 Uhr unserer Zeit via YouTube, Twitch, PlayStation Network, Steam, Xbox Live, Twitter und weiteren Diensten live in alle Welt übertragen.
