GDC Awards: "Horizon Zero Dawn" hat sechs Nominierungen erhalten

Die alljährlichen Game Developers Choice Awards, kurz GDC Awards, werden am 21. März 2018 um 18:30 Uhr Ortszeit in San Francisco verliehen. Heute haben die Verantwortlichen die nominierten Spiele enthüllt, wobei alle Titel, die im Jahre 2017 offiziell veröffentlicht worden sind, nominiert werden konnten.

Guerrilla Games‘ „Horizon: Zero Dawn“ konnte sich sechs Nominierungen sichern. Lediglich „The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild“ konnte ebenfalls sechs Nominierungen verbuchen. Beide Spiele sind unter anderem in der Kategorie „Game of the Year“ nominiert. Den begehrten Preis für das beste Spiel des Jahres können auch „Super Mario Odyssey“, „NieR: Automata“ und „PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds“ gewinnen.

Desweiteren wird man drei Einzelpersonen in den Kategorien „Pioneer“, „Ambassador“ und „Lifetime Achievement“ auszeichnen. Die Fans können ab Ende Januar den Sieger der Kategorie „Audience Award“ bestimmen.
