E3 Game Critics Awards 2017: Die Nominierten stehen fest - Mittelerde, Wolfenstein II und Mario + Rabbids dominieren

Im Rahmen der E3 2017 hatten die Publisher und Entwickler zahlreiche Spiele vorgestellt, die in den nächsten Monaten und Jahren erscheinen sollen. Um die Spiele noch einmal zu feiern, wird man auch in diesem Jahr die Game Critics Awards Best of E3 2017 verleihen. Nun wurden die Nominierten enthüllt.

Vor wenigen Wochen fand in Los Angeles die E3 2017 statt und im Rahmen der bedeutendsten Videospielmesse des Jahres wurden zahlreiche Spiele der nächsten Monate und Jahre vorgestellt, die nun noch einmal von 38 Publikationen der Fachpresse aus der ganzen Welt mit Preisen ausgezeichnet werden sollen. Inzwischen wurden die Nominierten der Game Critics Awards Best of E3 2017 enthüllt. Die Sieger sollen Ende dieser Woche enthüllt werden.

Mit je vier Nominierungen haben „Mittelerde: Schatten des Krieges“, „Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus“ und „Mario + Rabbids Battle Kingdom“ die besten Chancen auf die begehrten Preise. „Assassin’s Creed Origins“, „Destiny 2“ und „Super Mario Odyssey“ können je drei Nominierungen auf sich verbuchen.

Bei den Plattformen dominieren die PlayStation 4 und der PC mit jeweils 49 Nominierungen, während die Xbox One-Titel 44 und die Nintendo Switch-Spiele 17 Nominierungen einheimsen konnten. Bei den Publishern führt Ubisoft mit 14 Nominierungen. Auf den weiteren Plätzen folgen Sony Interactive Entertainment (7) und Bethesda Softworks (6).

Im Übrigen können lediglich Spiele nominiert werden, die im Rahmen der Messe mindestens fünf Minuten lang in Echtzeit spielbar waren. Somit fallen zahlreiche namhafte Titel aus der Konkurrenz. Folgende Spiele sind unter anderem nicht zugelassen: „Anthem“, „A Way Out“, „Beyond Good & Evil 2“, „God of War“, „Kingdom Hearts III“, „Life is Strange: Before the Storm“, „Metro Exodus“, „Monster Hunter World“, „Shadow of the Colossus“, „Marvel’s Spider-Man“, „The Evil Within 2“ und „Uncharted: The Lost Legacy“.

Desweiteren werden auch drei Sonderpreise in den Kategorien Grafik, Sound und Innovation verliehen. In diesem Fall sind alle Spiele zugelassen. Hier sind nun alle Kategorien und Nominierten:
